| Metro Architecture |
OptionsCity™ Metro comprises of two main parts. The first, CityServer, is a powerful, sophisticated and scalable server that contains the quoting engine, theoretical value generator, position manager and exchange connectivity APIs. The second, CityFront, is a sleek and user-friendly interface that resides on the trading workstation. It allows traders to control, manage and monitor the system as well as fully customize the types of financial information to view or interact with, at the level of detail they desire. The server component, CityServer, connects directly to the exchange for increased speed and performs the vast majority of trading functions. It is the one responsible for connecting directly to the exchanges, for calculating theoretical prices and disseminating real-time quotes, implementing the trading strategies crafted by the traders, monitoring and automatically reacting to market conditions, including extreme ones, and managing risk and the groups position. The client component, CityFront, resides on the trader’s workstation and allows them to view, monitor and manage the trading activities. |

| The system is designed and built to allow for scalability and speed. The architecture allows for multiple client components to be connected to multiple server components, with the load being distributed across multiple servers, and with the financial information being distributed and/or aggregated across multiple client components. The architecture allows for growth, by seamlessly increasing the number of servers to support growth in the trading portfolio of the group and by seamlessly increasing the number of clients to support the growth in the trading team. |
