Hazem Dawani, President & CEO

Having worked as a Director in the Software Department at Chicago Trading Company (CTC), Hazem brings a wealth of knowledge in building trading software. Hazem had a leading role in architecting and building the company’s main electronic trading and market making engine and interface. Within a short period of time, that system took the company’s electronic trading revenue to an explosive growth. Hazem also had a role in the creation of a software development process with the implementation of a support process and a management control system. Prior to that, Hazem worked at SSI as a Software Engineer building real-time embedded systems solutions. Hazem has a Bachelor degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and was a scholar in the IIT Leadership Academy.

 

Victor Glava, VP Development & CTO

From his experience at Chicago Trading Company (CTC) as an Associate Director in the Software Department, Victor contributes his integration experience to the core of OptionsCity™. At CTC, Victor led a team of developers and implemented back-end solutions and exchange connectivity to exchanges such as the CBOE, ISE, and EUREX. Through his superior technical skills, the company was able to expand its electronic trading capabilities across 7 exchanges. Prior to that, Victor held senior development positions at companies such as Tellabs and ComEd. Victor has a Masters degree in Computer Science and a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

 

Rudy Fasouliotis, VP Services

Rudy comes from Oracle (previously Stellent) where he was a Senior Software Engineer. Stellent was acquired by Oracle, and is a global provider of content management software solutions. Rudy worked there for 6 years and held positions from Support Engineer to Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, Rudy held positions at several consulting companies such as Bowne and RTI. His positions ranged from network consulting to software development. He brings to OptionsCity™ a vast experience in software development and support, networking support, and customer relations. Rudy has a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

 

Steve Kosanovich, VP Sales

Steve’s background includes being the NE Sales Manager for Original Software, a leading developer of database testing software. Before that, Steve was both an independent and a firm trader for fifteen years. He traded equities, commodities and options around the world and has a vast experience upon which to conceive and execute our sales strategy. Steve’s contact portfolio and exchange-trading know-how brings access to niche and mainstream markets for OptionsCity™. In addition, his thorough understanding of technology and risk management in today’s marketplace. As a previously appointed Vice-President with Bank of America, he oversaw the implementation of a new trading system and managed the options desk. Steve has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from Vanderbilt University.

Harry P. Lamberson, Director

Mr. Lamberson comes from a legal, as well as a strategic and business consulting background. Following graduation from The University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Lamberson spent 29 years at the Chicago law firm of Chapman and Cutler, a financial services law firm. Mr. Lamberson has served on the Board of Directors of 9 companies in the past, including 4 currently, which included Quantitative Analytics, Inc., a financial software company sold in 2006 to Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters) for in excess of $130 M, as well as Hull Trading Company, a proprietary options and futures trading company sold in 1999 to Goldman Sachs & Co. for in excess of $500 M. Following his law career at Chapman and Cutler, where he served as a Managing Partner, Mr. Lamberson joined The Stafford Group, as Managing Director, Chief Administrative and Chief Legal Officer, involved in domestic and international proprietary options and futures trading, as well as private equity investments. Following the sale of the principal business of The Stafford Group to The Toronto Dominion Bank in 2002, Mr. Lamberson became the Principal of Lamberson Consulting Group, which provides legal, strategic and business consulting services to privately held businesses which have an objective to fully realize their growth potential.

 

Neal Brady, Director

Mr. Brady is Managing Partner at Third Stone Venture Partners. Prior to that, Neal Brady served as Managing Director at CME Group, responsible for global business development. In this role, he was responsible for CME Group international partnerships as well as CME Group strategic partnering in OTC markets. He also served on the Board of Directors of Imarex Group. Before joining the CME, Neal was Founder and CEO of Liquidity Direct Technology, a leading options and spread trading platform that CME acquired in January 2004. Neal earned a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, an MBA degree from Columbia Business School and Master’s in International Affairs (MIA) from Columbia University’s School of Public Affairs.
