OptionsCity® is a financial technology company incepted in 2006 by three Chicago software professionals and friends who shared the same passion and vision for technology and options trading. Together, Hazem Dawani, Victor Glava, and Rudy Fasouliotis created a powerful, intuitive, and reliable product that would change the way options traders conducted business. The founders brought their experience and drive from previous leading roles at a very successful Chicago options trading company.

With a proven combination of software development expertise, a solid understanding of traders’ needs, and an immense amount of passion, in August of 2007, OptionsCity produced Metro, an end-to-end electronic market making and trading platform. OptionsCity continued expanding, acquiring clients, and connecting to more than 15 major derivatives exchanges. In September of 2011, OptionsCity shook up the market with the launch of Freeway, a low-latency, server-based algorithmic trading platform designed for deploying user-built multi-asset strategies. OptionsCity continues to bring technological advancement and innovation to the financial industry.
